We felt this story needed something more human and tangible. Something we wouldn’t fully control, but rather allow to unfold in front of us.
And so, we began imagining the project without a defined cast, trusting that we could find our characters by approaching fans in the street and inviting them to perform small scenes. We took the time to seek out those documentary-like, “stolen moments” that would give the film its flavour, often waiting for hours, only to walk away with a handful of shots.
